    3. I am interested in finding out if Erastus D. Baker and his wife Jane L. and daughter Hannah J. or Jenny are in the 1880 or 1900 census for Putnam County. They lived there for a while I know. Erastus was born somewhere around 1830. He died somewhere between 1905 & 1910. Could you check your estate list for him? I doubt he will be listed. I think they were very poor. I believe he is buried in the Powersville, Putnam Cemetery. His wife Jane, daughter Jenny, and son Edwin Erastus are all buried there. Also, they had a son named Ira Baker that may have lived in Putnam County. He had children named Brummet & Dulcey & Dean. I have pictures of the children. I know nothing of his wife. He was born in Missouri about 1861. Here's hoping! Ruth Helvy Homepage is Pioneers, Patriots, Puritans & Scalawags at http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~bakhelvy/ Seccomb-L & Helvey-L mail list
