These are deaths reported in the 28 Jan 1891 issue of a Unionville Newspaper. 28 Jan 1891, Local Charlie YOUNG, the engineer of the coal shaft at Milan fell from the tub while being hoistd from the bottom of the shaft, Tuesday of last week, and was instantly killed. He fell from 160 to 180 feet, his skull being smashed, jaw broken and left arm crushed. The accident was not attributed to any defects in machinery but it is supposed that Young's hands cramped and lost their grip on the rope. 28 Jan 1891, Locals A sad death was that of Mrs. Oscar STINSON in Wilson township, Thursday last. Mr. and Mrs. Stinson had been married just a week today. She was taken suddenly ill the day following the marriage and grew worse til death relieved her suffering. Deceased was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas ROSEBERRY of near Pollock.
