Hello! I've been wondering about migration patterns to and from Putnam Co. (specifically the York Twp./Wyreka/Powersville area). In my own research so far, it seems as a number of Putnam Co. settlers came from Ohio (esp. Ross Co.), but there are of course others from Indiana, Kentucky, etc. From my viewpoint, though, it appears as though about 1/2 the town of Powersville up and moved to Boise Valley, Idaho (i.e. Hunter, Meridian, Boise, etc.). Hunter/Meridian especially seems to have been founded by former Powersville residents. Anyone else notice the same things? Anyone have any reasoning or explanation behind these observations? Thanks! -- Amelia Reimer HOWRY KENNEDY LAUDERBAUGH/LAUDERBOUGH/LOUDERBAUGH/LOUDERBOUGH SHANE CLARK CRAWFORD WILLIAMS BROWNLEE WOODWARD
