Hello, It sounds like your McIntires may be related to my McEntires who lived in the county in the 1850s. Mary McEntire b. 1806 NC, a widow was in Pulaski with her children: Thomas b. 1829 TN Kesiah b. 1833 KY William H. b. 1838 KY Rebecca b. 1840 KY John M. b. 1843 IL David R. b. 1846 IL In 1860 Mary and her four youngest children were in Barry County MO. By 1870 David and Rebecca were in Lawrence County AR. I do not know where the others were in 1870. In 1880 David R. (Rich) McEntire/McIntire was in the census of Lawrence county AR a few households away from sister Kesiah and her husband James Scribner. I don't know where Thomas, John, or William McEntire went after 1860. It is possible some of Mary's children remained in Pulaski MO. Samuel seems to be a family name also.
