Surnames: Rowden, Burks Classification: Death Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/UNB.2ACI/1001 Message Board Post: Joe Rowden Mets Sudden Death Joe Rowden, who lives at Brays, Mo., met sudden death Wednesday as he was on his way to Iberia, when the team which he was driving became frightened at some cattle and ran away, throwing him out of the buggy, and hitting his head against a stump killing him almost instantly. Mr. Rowden is a son-in-law of W. F. Burks at this place. Funeral services will be held at the home today and interment in the Brays cemetery.
