Surnames: Thompson Classification: Obituary Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/UNB.2ACI/1038 Message Board Post: Glenn Thompson Glenn, the little son of Mr. and Mrs. Perry Thompson, was born at Minnekah, Okla., June 4, 1909, and died November, 30, 1916, of pneumonia, at the home of his parents in Crocker, Mo., aged 7 years, 5 months, and 26 days. Little Glenn was a bright, good boy just blooming into life, but God called him from this world and truly it can be said of him: He shall live again in a better world than this, where sorrow, sickness, pain, nor death shall ever come to mar the peace and happiness of earthly families, and where God shall wipe away all tears from our eyes. After short services, held by the writer, his little body was laid to rest beneath the sod in the Zion cemetery, to await the resurrection morn of the redeemed of the earth. We loved him, yes, we loved him, But angels loved him more, And they have sweetly called him To yonder shining shore Those baby lips are hushed and still; Our hearts yearn for his smile, But if we do the Father’s will, We’ll meet him after while.
