His obit states he was shipped back from Franklin Co., near Berger to Crocker, here in Pulaski Co. Samuel G. W. Hiatte died at the home of his son, William Hiatte, near Berger, October 9,1923 at the age of 85 years, 2 months and 10 days. Deceased was born in Kentucky, but had been a resident of Missouri for many years. His body was shipped back to Crocker, MO., his former home, where interment took place Fri. Mr. Hiatte is survived by two sons and three daughters." (newspaper "Citizen"-10/26/23) If anyone knows where he might be buried, please let me know. He is my paternal gguncle.
