Please contact me at my e-mail address marysdandy@yahoo.com and give me your home address so I can send these out to you. I think I gave you the wrong date for Oscar's birth, it should be 05-09-1904. So far I haven't found a connection to Augustus. I have been able to locate of Oscar's wife is her name was Bertha J. Watson and she was born 02-05-1913. As of the printing date of my headstone inscription book of 1995, Betha's death date wasn't on the stone. She might have remarried and is buried next to her second husband but I don't know who it might have been. Oscar's notice in the paper didn't have much information in it and I am going to check in a couple of other papers after that date and see if there is a better obit. If I do locate a different one, I will get back in touch with you. The obit for Augustus did not give a name for his wife, only his children. The obit stated his name as Augustus C. but the headstone says A. W. Schoonover. I don't know why the middle initials are different. The obit does list one of his children as A. W. and that is where the confusion might have came from. Mary
