James settled in St. Francois County; his brother, Kincaid was the first settler in Franklin County along with other siblings and their families. Matthew was one of the earliest into Franklin and Gasconade with descendants in the area. We are working to build these lineages with documented records. We are attempting to reach others who are interested in these lines.
