He had children Hiram, Andrew, James, Rachel, and Elizabeth and possibly others. My great grandfather, James Lawson Ervin, Jr. came to Texas in 1875. This family was on the Effingham County, Illinois Cencus of 1850. I would like any information available on this family. Thank you.
