Posted on: Pulaski Co MO Query Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Mo/Pulaski/745 Surname: McNeese, Becker ------------------------- I am in search of information about a hotel that was built in Waynesville, Pulaski County, MO. around 1920 by my Great Aunt and Uncle, Spencer and Louise (Lulu) McNeese. It is my understanding that the building is now designated as a Historical Landmark. I would appreciate any information I might get (including a picture) if the bldg. is still there. Thank you very much.
The only hotel that I can think of that is a landmark is the "Old Stagecoach Stop", but that was built in the late 1800's I believe. I can remember two others, the Baker Hotel, but it was torn down many years ago, and the Bell Hotel, which was purchased by the Walters Family and is now the Waynesville, Memorial Chapel. That is all that is and was in Waynesville, that I know of.
