Could your Archibald EVANS be related somehow to Rebecca EVANS b.1814 in Hawkins County, Tennessee? I believe her father was an Archibald Evans, and I am looking for information on this Archibald and his family. Rebecca was married to Seth Manes b. 1814 in Hawkins County, Tennessee, and they are both buried in the Mays-Gillespie cemetery. I would be willing to share information about Rebecca and her descendants, and I would be grateful for any information about her siblings and parents.
