She was born March 10, 1884, being at the time of her death 57 years, 1 month and 11 days old. Death followed a long period of ill health. Her husband, Charley Jones, to whom she was united in marriage December 25, 1902, departed this life five years ago. To this union nine children were born, two dying in infancy. Those remaining to mourn the loss of their mother are Mrs. Eugene Wray, of Springfield, Mrs. Wesley Green, of Dixon, Mrs. Wm. Wray, of Springfield, Mrs. John Hall, of St. Louis, Earl, Ralph and Catherine, of Crocker. She also leaves 14 grandchildren, many other relatives and a host of friends to mourn her passing. She united with the Crocker Christian church in October 1902, and remained a faithful member until the end. She was kind and generous in her contact with others and was liked and respected by all. Funeral services were conducted at the Crocker Christian church Wednesday by Rev. Herman Jones after which she was laid to rest in the Crocker cemetery under direction of J.L.
