She was united in marriage to Jack McMillian in 1890 at Waynesville, and to this union nine children were born, all of whom survive their mother, except one daughter, Bertha, who passed away in 1913. Those who remain to mourn the loss of a loving mother are: Edna Davis, Salem, _archas Thomas, of Kansas City, Jake, of Iola, Kan., Mark, of Crocker, Frank of St. Louis, Roy and Grover, of Kansas City, and Louise Claiborn, of Crocker. She also leaves five grandchildren and two brothers, Merl and Sanford Porter, of St. Louis, many other relatives and a host of friends who extend their sincere sympathy to the bereaved ones. Her husband passed away March 20, 1929. Mrs. McMillian had been a member of the Christian church for many years.
