Does anyone know where the location of this p[lace was? Also any information on the Children of Catherine Bowen, who were left with a family named Hinshaw Henshaw or another faniliy of Bowens in and around the Pulaski Co., area. in the 1889-1900's. They were from KY.Children's names were Charles William, Nancy Louise (Nanny) and G.E. Bowen. G.E. Bowen's name could of been George Edward Bowen. I would really like to find the maiden name of Chatherine who married George A. Bowen in KY. Also what happened to her, They also lived around Hawkins, and the Waynesville area. Catherine must of not been able to take care of her children. Could someone tell me if they had a Paupers Place in Waynesville? or Orphanage??? Any help would be appreciated.
