Henry came to the U.S. with his brother JOHN PRUETT around 1679. HENRY lived in HENRICO COUNTY, VA.,(1679-1693). His son HENRY PRUETT Jr. was born in Henrico County in 1680 and married MARY ROSS on 13 Apr 1702 while living in ELIZABETH CITY,VA. Their children were: DANIEL, WILLIAM(my line), THOMAS, HENRY III, JOHN, ANN,and WEALTHY PRUETT. WILLIAM married MARY MARTIN around 1747. He moved his family to ROWAN COUNTY,NC. and in 1773 was living near ABINGDON,VA. Later William was in WASHINGTON COUNTY,NC.(now TN.) At his death William was living in MADISON COUNTY,ALABAMA. Any help with this family will be appreciated and I will be glad to share my data with you.
