Hi list, I am looking for information on James Lane and his wife, Oma Catherine (Souther) Lane. I would like to know where they are buried at or when did they died. James Lane was born abt. 1838 in Illinois, son of John Lane & Parthena (Temperance?) . Oma Catherine (Souther) Lane was born abt. 1843 in Tennessee. They were married in Hamilton County, Illinois in 1858. They have 8 children that I only know of, which I believe all of them was born in Illinois. Their children are: 1) Sarah Lane, b. abt. 1864 2) John Lane, b. abt. 1866 3) Mary J. Lane, b. abt. 1868 4) James L. Lane, b. abt. 1870 5) Jeremiah Lane, b. abt. 1872 6) Walker B. Lane, b. abt. 1875 7) Robert L. Lane, b. abt. 1875 8) Estella Minnie Lane or Minnie Estella Lane, born November 15, 1877. James and Oma C. Lane was in 1880 Pulaski County, MO census, the last that I can find them. Wonder if James Lane moved to Missouri because of family?? Is there more Lane's there in Pulaski County, MO??
