West. After Bardney's death, Emmett married Nora Dotson. I am a descendent of Bardney's younger brother, Edward C. Prewett (1877-1960). Their parents, Clark and Sarah (Palmer) Prewett first farmed on Tick Creek, now in Phelps County. They later moved up the Gasconade and farmed where Highway 28 crosses the Gasconade.
