I recall reading about a Time or Life Magazine article published on the Waynesville area based on the growth of Ft. Leonard Wood. I am not sure of the exact date but think it was sometime in the 1950's. From what I read, it was much like the article that National Geographic did two years ago on the Steelville area (http://web.umr.edu/~cwatkin/cwome/article33 <http://web.umr.edu/~cwatkin/cwome/article33&34combined.htm> &34combined.htm). I was wondering if anyone here might know what magazine and issue this came from. I would like to look it up and give it a read.
