    3. DECKER/WOODS I am currently researching the following families: William DECKER, b 1810, KY and wife Sarah "Sally" SKAGGS DECKER, b 1811, KY Children: 1. Rebecca, b 1833 KY, married 1853, Richland, MO, to George SHAW 2. Ezekiel, b 1835, KY 3. Henry, b 1838, KY, married ca 1858-59 to Elizabeth Jane WOODS, (had dau Rebecca Jane, b 1859, Huntsman’s Hollow, Phelps Co., MO, m. Alfred Runnells BROOKSHIRE) 4. Hetta/Hetty, b 1839, KY, married 1859, Phelps Co., MO to James RUE 5. Polly, b 1840, MO 6. Sally, b 1841, MO 7. William, b 1843, MO 8. Margaret, b 1845, MO 9. Lucretta, b 1849, MO I have found William DECKER & family in the 1840 and 1850 Pulaski Co MO census, but have not been able to locate him after 1850. I have located William’s son, Henry, in the 1860 Phelps Co., MO Census, #268-268 with his wife, Elizabeth Jane, 16, b TN, daughter Rebecca, 1, b MO. Also living in this household are Carroll WOODS, 23, b TN and Sarah Woods, 18, b TN. Also, something interesting to think about is that in Phelps Co MO Marriages there is an Elizabeth DECKER marrying Francis MURRAY 13 Nov. 1870 and I am going to keep that bit of information in the back of my head . . . just in case my Henry Decker died and Elizabeth Jane Woods Decker remarried. I have not been able to locate Henry DECKER or Carroll WOODS in any census after 1860. The 1870 MO Census index has two Henry Deckers listed - both in Pulaksi Co and same household. I think it is the father and son from the David Decker line. I am most interested in hearing from anyone with information regarding this DECKER family OR possible WOODS/WOOD family. 3. Hi, Pat! Thanks for your kind lookup! I'm not sure where the Brownfields are buried. They may well be part of the same family as my Brownfields, though. Do you by chance show an Alfred Brownfield in your records who died ca. 1865? He is the first of my Brownfield line that I believe to have died in Pulaski County. (I won't burden you with looking up any more Brownfields, though, because it's really the Killman connection that has me stumped.) Thanks again! Mary --- "Patricia A. 3. Mary, I do not show a listing for the surname KILLMAN, KILMAN, KILLAM, etc. I do have BROWNFIELD however and most of them are in the Oaklawn Cemetery which is the Richfield City Cemetery. Is this the right area? 3. Hi! There's been a lot of good activity on this list of late, so I thought I would try my "dead end" again. I'm looking for the KILLMAN surname in Pulaski County. Specifically I'm looking for James KILLMAN who married Mary Ella BROWNFIELD probably sometime around 1867-1870. James is shown with Mary Ella in the 1870 census, but by 1880 Mary Ella BROWNFIELD is by herself, so it's possible that James KILLMAN died sometime between 1872 (when last child was born) and 1880. Or James and Mary Ella might have divorced. Mary Ella BROWNFIELD was married 5 times, but I don't know if her husbands all died, or if there were some divorces. My research has been seriously stymied by the lack of records for Pulaski County due to the courthouse fire. I'd love it if someone could look in their resources for any mention of the KILLMAN family in Pulaski County. Maybe in the cemetery records? Thanks much!!! Mary
