Greeting List, In my previous post about the Dalton Gang, I failed to list the source of my information, and I just received an email, asking for that source. I apoligize for not giving it before. At the risk of boring you, I will add this bit of trivia. Emmett Dalton was the lone surviver of the Coffeyville, Kansas bank robbery, and was sent to the Kansas State Pen. He served 14 years, and received a full pardon from the Kansas governor in 1907, after which he moved to California. He is listed in the census while living in Los Angeles, as a "producer of motion pictures", and later wrote a book about the Dalton Gang, called "When The Daltons Rode". I have just finished reading this interesting book, and this was the source of my information. After Emmett's death in California in 1937, the book was made in to a movie starring Broderick Crawford, Randolph Scott, Brian Donlevy, and Andy Devine.
