An Alfred Emory is listed in a biography on James and Mary (Barnes) Cloyed as marrying a Hattie Naomi Thomas, apparently their great granddaughter. Let me know if you need more details. There is a picture of the Jesse Russell Payne Sr. family. One of the children is listed as Nancy (Payne) Emory, although in the biography it does not give any marital information on her. It does give her name as Nancy Catherine 1879 (assume birth date). Hope this helps.
