Was wondering if someone could help me figure out about these 2 names. In Nov (?)1879 Amelia A Ford (don't know if this is her maiden name or a married name)married.Louis C Bivens/Bivins, recorded in the marriage book. My Grandfather George Henry Bivens/Bivins was born in Polk county 1880. parents name was Amelia A Ford, father was Louis/Lewis C Bivens/Bivins This is recorded in the Birth records in Polk. I can't find Amelia Ford before 1879 or after 1880. Don't know if she died(some said she died in Carthage, can't find her there either) or her and Louis Divorced. I was told that Louis was born in Kansas City, Mo. But can't document that either. It would be nice if someone had some good ideas besides me( mine are obsolete now)..Looking since 1998. No Amelia Ford or any Bivens in the Polk County Cemetery books. Hi Janet Sorry con't help you on the Ford family. My husbond's father was a Gilbert and Mother a Simrell and so far I havn't run on to any Ford in this line.
