    3. I have the Polk County cemetery books and there is no McDaniel Cemetery, However, I did find Thomas and Nancy McDaniel in Anderson Cemetery. It is in Union Township, about 3.5 miles SW of Aldrich, 1/2 mile S of Highway T, and about 1/2 mile E of the line between Polk and Dade Counties. This is the info I found: McDaniel, Thomas, May 15, 1810 - Mar 24, 1889 (His DOB was listed as Mar 15, 1810, by Stephen Patterson and as May 15, 11810, by Mrs. Helen Mae Chappell.) McDaniel, Nancy 1811 - 1892. wife of Thomas (no stone) (Thomas McDaniel and Naancy McDaniel are great-great-grandparents of Stephen Patterson) McDaniel, William E. Feb 13, 1841 - Aug 25, 1882, son of Thomas and Nancy (no stone) (William E. and his wife, Melissa D. Pyland lived on a farm that was north of the Anderson Cemetery and probably jopined it.) McDaniel, Melissa D/ (Pyland) Mar 18, 1841 - 1881, wife of William E. (no stone) The book also states that one of the earliest burials that can be identified in this cemetery are Mrs. Martha Ann (McDaniel) Harper, who died Oct 1, 1872 Hope this helps you.
