Piercy was born July 27, 1844 Scott County, VA and died August 4, 1926 Greene County, MO according to his MO death cert. His death cert listed his father as Andrew Pearcy born VA and his mother's maiden name was Brady born VA. Andrew Piercy/Pearcy born ca. 1807 VA and his wife Dorcas Brady Piercy were in Scott County, VA 1850-1880. Joshua was the 8th of 10 known children. My interest is finding the second child, Henry Piercy/Pearcy born ca. 1831 VA and married Martha Jane Delph in 1853 Hawkins County, TN. They had a son Andrew J. Pearcy born 1854 who married Sarah Hayworth Blocksom in 1878 Vigo County, IN. I can not find Henry/ Martha Jane or Andrew J. Pearcy anywhere in 1860 or 1870.
