I would like to let anyone know who has ancestors buried in Shady Grove Cemetery at Humansville, MO that something is being done to preserve this very old cemetery. As most people know the cemetery has been neglected for years and last year a tornado ripped through and tore down many beautiful old trees and upset many tombstones. We have had a couple of really hard workers mowing and cleaning up and getting Shady Grove back to presentable condition. What we really need from people that have an interest in keeping up the cemetery is to make donations to the TRUST FUND that has been set up at the US BANK, Humansville, MO 65674. If you have people in this cemetery please help us maintain the final resting place of our loved ones.
