This is the first I have heard of the Laney name. I have no real leads on Sarah at all so this is a new direction to try. Sounds as though Elizabeth had been married to an Alexander but that her maiden name, which would be the same as her brother's, would be Laney. Were there any Laneys or Alexanders living in Polk Co?
