California State Archieves, 4th floor, Root Cellar Annex has the 4 books on McDaniels + pictures+ histories. There is more info on McDaniels at the Greene County Archives Historical Society, Springfield, Mo. Bulletins and Indexes(?). There are photos and histories in the Reprint of the Republic Missouri Historical Society's "3000 Good Neighbors, Bulletin Nr 52/54(?), Republic, Mo. Ok, take care.
