    3. I am a descendant of Luke Prier Holmes whose younger half brother was William Rilan Holmes. Both lived and are buried in Polk County, MO. Ostensibly, William Rilan Holmes died in Polk County but in the Missouri Archives death index listing I've not been able to find his death certificate. The information I have is that he died 21 January 1930. Right? Wrong? Or, am I in error in believing that he died in Missouri? Can anyone help? Karen V. lkvenable@earthlink.net

    3. Karen, Don't give up finding a death certificate, try any spelling you can think of. I know there are mistakes, I have several grandmothers that I know died in MO but I can't find a dc for them either. BTW, Wm R. Holmes is buried in the Dunnegan Cemetery.
