Hi, Does the name "Wilber or Wilburn" Stokes sound familiar? In the obit. of my husband's great grandmother, it mentions a "Stokes cousin" who his great grandmotherwas living with. One of the Case cousins found this information for us. I don't know anything more of Maranda or Wilber. Would he be one of your cousins? The Polk Co., Mo. census was taken on Jun 24, 1880 and at this time she was living with her Aunt Barbara Paralee (Case) Litteral, who was married to William A. Litteral. This Maranda eventually married Wilburn Stokes and became the "Randi Stokes" with whom Curt's Grandma Louisa Case Stewart lived with at the time of her death. .................................................................... 1910 OK Fed.
