I've "rescued" an old photograph of Lil CARNEY which was taken at the L. H. Swanson Studio in Fairplay, Missouri. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1880's or 1890's with Lil likely in her teens or 20's at the time it was taken. In addition to her name, someone has written "Mother's Friend" on the back of the photograph. I am hoping to locate someone from the family so that this wonderful old photograph can be returned to the care of her family.
