Surnames: LEMONS/LEMMONS, HODGE, LEMON Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/HMB.2ACE/1215 Message Board Post: Found out that ancestors slave owners had two large HODGE Plantations -- one in Missouri (location not specific but Polk is a clue); and one in Jefferson, Marion County, TX. Slaves would be transferred back and forth to tend needs of both plantations. Any help would be appreicated. also the LEMONS and HODGE folks were family connected, so both names apply in this endeavor. Thanks,
