Hazel Cavin was a Prater from the early Prater line that settled in the area and her husband Vi was from the original Cavin family who also were early settlers and for whom Burdette-Cavin Cemetery was named. I don't know how much has been done on the Prater family, but a lot has been done on the Cavin line. Both of these families lived in the area that later became Goodnight.
