Thanks so much for your help. I was at the library and courthouse in June and looked til I was blue, for the marriage license for: Samuel S. BURDETT [BIRDETT] SR to Sarah Ann Elizabeth CAVIN.. has to be betw. 1846-1848.. couldn't locate it anywhere! Anybody willing to check on this.. guess they could have gone to Buffalo since they lived near Humansville, but wouldn't think so.. If anybody has any other ideas, I'm open! Lanita, try Benton County. I think it was SS Burdette that was in that county early. I don't have anything that would help you myself. Linda
