Union Grove is a very well kept cemetery. It is mowed regularly. It has a chain link fence around the perimeter. The "old" and "new" parts are full and a nice piece of land next to it was given as more burial space by Hazel Cavin before she passed away. Take 244th Rd south out of Tin Town and follow it on across Pomme de Terre River and up a grade and you will be at the cemetery. It is less than a mile from the Greene County line and not much farther to the Dallas County line on the east. I am doing an updated reading of the cemetery for the Polk County Genealogica Society in the future. Linda
Linda, Thanks for the info.. John said that he THOUGHT it was kept up, but didn't know for sure. He says he thinks he can find it! Any idea who Hazel CAVIN line was? Lanita Sconce Miller I'm always late. My ancestors arrived on the JUNE Flower!
