John Witt Kennon (born Grainger Co., TN, 1820-1821) married Rhoda Hubbs Lane (born Grainger Co., TN, Dec. 26, 1817) Sep. 10, 1838, Grainger Co., TN), died Polk Co., MO, 1884-1890) John Witt Kennon was the son of James W. Kennon Sr. and Rebecca Bowen. James W. Kennon (Rev.) (born VA, Nov. 22, 1793) married Rebecca Bowen, Grainger Co, TN, June 2, 1816; died Jan. 12, 1884, Polk Co., MO. Rebecca Bowen, dau. of John Bowen and Sarah Bean, born Grainger Co., TN, Dec. 25, 1798, died Polk Co., MO, Aug. 10, 1876. I do not have documentation for the above. My line is Melvina Kennon Henson, dau. of James W. Kennon and Sarah Bean.
