The business that probably has the plat book is Polk County Electric on East Jackson and Market, just one block east of square. Jack Glendenning, the owner, is very knowledgable about local history. FYI the 1903 plat book is available for a nominal charge from the Greene County Archives as are plat books from the surrounding counties. Was priced around $2.00 plus shipping. Each place mentioned in Bolivar has its own strengths, Public library has many books, family histories, and all local census on microfilm and all of the Bolivar papers on film. The Ozarks Gen Society in Spfd is open Tues eves., Weds afternoon and Sat., 10-4. Check out their website. They also have many publications for sale that relate to Polk county. Happy researching
