Surnames: Smith, Looney, Williams, Johnston, and others Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/HMB.2ACE/1461 Message Board Post: I have been researching the Smith family for several years, and have Ellender/Ella as the only child of James H.M. Smith and Mary Ann Looney. Ellender A. Smith married Edward Adamson. If any of the following information is incorrect, please let me know. I am also presuming that Mary Ann Looney Smith died in 1834 and is buried in Polk County, Looney Township, as James H.M. married Martha Williams in January of 1835. James H.M. and Mary Ann Looney Smith were married in Ralls County, Missouri on July 16, 1829. John Absalom Looney and Mary Garrison Looney had the following children:Benjamin Mitchell Loony, John Absalom Looney Jr., Jesse Looney, Margaret {married John Lair}, Martha {married John Smith} Nancy married John Robberson and second, the widowed John Smith}, William, Absalom and Lavinia. John Absalom Looney was born September 10, 1774 in Botetourt County, VA, son of Benjamin and Mary {Johnson} Looney. Much of the above information was gathereed from the Garrison family and by Sandra Wells, from the Wells Family Tree and others.
