I hope everyone will use this new toy, it should be a great way to share and to hopefully find a clue now and again. 3. I am just adding that my great aunt Amy Bell Eagon married Oliver Redd on June 19, 1883. His sister was Florence L. Redd who married William M. Jump on November 24, 1915 in Halfway, Polk, Missouri. I remember going to visit Oliver in Halfway sometime after my great aunt died and while I was young. I heard mention of the Jumps but I can't remember anything more. Connie Beebe <csbeebe@sbcglobal.net> wrote: Sandi, I am getting ready to go on a trip. Will send info when I return mid-Feb. This does give me some clues. One thing, though. I found Carolina M. Godbey's death certificate on the Missouri Vital Statistics website and she is listed as divorced. I know there was a huge stigma on divorced people back them. I'm wondering if in 1900 she just said she was a widow to avoid being judged or if her exhusband had died and she claimed to be a widow. I thought if I found an acutal death date for William C. I might be able to solve this mystery. Thanks again.
