Let me know if you'd like a copy of Terry's work, or if you find anything in error (or have any additional details). Hugh is a bit of a mystery, still... Thanks!! 1. [MOPOLK] Alexander Morgan and wife Martha Killogre
    2. Charlotte
    3. Alexander Morgan died around 1847 in the Mexican War. He left behind a wife Martha Killgore Morgan. Is there a plat map for Polk county, that shows land ownership. I was wondering if Martha owned and land or her husband Alexander. Alexander had a brother named Hugh Morgan who was married to Sarah. Sarah is listed in the 1850 census of Polk County, MO In 1850 Martha is found living with one of her daughters in Shelby, TN Charlotte

    3. Carole and Kay, Thanks so much for the replies. Kay, I THINK I know which Wm. O. JUSTICE belongs to, but will do some double checking... will need to find Nancy and the others... have no clue right now, but I appreciate you sending. Carole, don't worry. I have the census and lots of documentation on my direct line, including Amos Sr's Revolutionary War papers that provided the documentation needed for DAR. Was your Thomas Edward JUSTICE III a son or grandson of Thomas who mar. Sarah McCARTY I have my Thomas son of Amos and Mary McBRAYER JUSTICE as being b. 1792. Does that match yours as the son or grandson? Would love to exchange info. If you are interested, I can send you a pic of John D.'s grave in AR. Thanks to you both for your time and help! Lanita

    3. Hello Lanita: I'm from that same general family. My gggrandmother was Catherine Harris Justice (Dunnaway). She is the daughter of Thomas Edward III and Sarah Yarborough Justice and was also from Arkansas and ended up in Polk County, Missouri by 1850. I don't have any reliable or proved information on your line, but I have a few notes that I've taken over the years. If they would help, I'd be glad to share them (for what they are worth!)
