Hi Jess, There are quite a number of Potters and Moores in the book I have. I will scan the pages and send them for you, if you like. That way you will be able to see just how many of them are yours. I have to get on to my other computer to do it. Beverly.. Am very interested in any Potters....or Moores.. Nancy Moore..md Jesse Potter died 1886 in Dade County. His wife Nancy survived him. Her maiden name is unknown. She married an Unknown Moore abt 1842 in Tennessee. They had four children Hiram Columbus Clarissa George W. Franklin Monroe. The last Hiram Columbus was born in 1849 in Arkansas. This is the last we hear of this Moore. She moves to Dade County and marries Jesse Potter b Kentucky. I need or want to have an obit or death certificate on Nancy Potter nee Moore who died after 1887 in Dade County. Or ... George W. Moore who died in dade county between 1890 and 1900. Warning there are two distinct George W. Moores in Dade county! Or Clarissa Moore b 1843 in Tennessee. Her whereabouts are unknown. Maybe somewhere I can find an obit which showws their Father's given name...?? Moore. Or their mother's surname..before she married the ?? Moore. Thankx for anything you can do!! There is a 2003 four volume set available from the Polk County Genealogical Society. They also offer a variety of other books on individual cemeteries. These offer various genealogical information that varies from book to book. See their web site for details.
