I certainly appreciate the people who have taken their time for these look ups.
Here is a partial list of the people I can't find. Polly (Mary Hale) Magill (McGill) age 80 on the 1870 census Looney Twp. Polk Co. Jane Magill (McGill) on the 1880 census of Looney Twp. Polk Co. Claudius B. Hale in the 1880 census of Looney Twp. Polk Co. Fred Hale and his wife Sally (Sarah) 1860 Brighton, Looney Twp. (he died 1860's) Polk Co. Robert Magill (McGill) and his wife Vianna Thompson Magill (McGill) 1870 Jackson Twp. Polk Co. Most of the above (if not all) were listed members of Mt. Zion Presbyterian Church at Cave Spring (Greene Co.)
I checked Polk County cemeteries and didn't find Fred Hale or Polly McGill, either. These township names were changed though after the county was formed. Hickory County was taken out of Johnson Township and again name changes. Also some Polk County Township names were changed about this time.

Surnames: Davis, Murphy, Gilmore Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/HMB.2ACE/1193.3.1 Message Board Post: Thanks for the information..the Samuel that I am looking for would have been born around 1797-1799 and was married twice, I believe. He was married to a Lydia Murphy and then married a Mary after Lydia death, so would think that Samuel would be buried next to Mary rather than Lydia, where ever that may be. John, his son, was born about 1826 and was married to a Malinda/Lydia (possibly Gilmore). Both men were born in Tennessee and settled in Looney Township in Polk County, Missouri.
