The family trees and histories are at PCGS, Bolivar, Mo. Stephen Barry Patterson did the research plus Kyle and Keith McDaniel. All are deceased now. There is suppose to be a book that Barry put together with about 650 families in it. I heard it was on deposit in a library in Missouri, but I don't know where it is. Matthew Anderson, my gggf, and Matilda (Maxwell), my gggm, lived in or around Aldich, Mo. I have been unsuccessful in finding any other children of their marriage except my ggf James Lafayette Anderson who lived outside on the old Anderson-McDaniel Farm.

See the trees and histories at PCGS, Bolivar, Mo. Yes, the old Anderson-McDaniel Cemetery is located outside Aldrich, Mo. I have tried to locate the Patterson relatives of Barry for quite some time. My ggf & ggm were James Lafayette Anderson and Mary R. (McDaniel) of Aldrich, Mo. Lafayette Anderson & Helen (Cheek) had the farm. Now, the children of Lafayette and Helen have it. There must be 10+ relatives buried in the cemetery. Others may be at Routh Chapel Cemetery outside of Aldrich, Mo.

    1. [MOPOLK] Kelley Family of Polk Co.
    2. Clif and Sarah Thompson
    3. I have some information on the Kelley family of Polk County - some of this is taken from Julie Wollard Trout's files posted on Rootsweb. Generation 1: George Washington Kelley, b. July 25, 1789 in NC, d. Jun 1869 in Polk Co. Burked Kelley Cty. Rondo, MO. Married Elizabeth Orendorff b. in SC bet. 1801 and 1809. The marriage took place in Logan Co., IL. They had several children borh in IL, but two of them, George Washington Kelley, b. abt 1839 and William Christopher Kelley b. 1842 were said to have been born in Polk County. Generation 2: William Christopher Kelley, b. Jan 4, 1841, d. Feb. 6, 1914 in Elkton, MO, buried Rondo, Polk Co. Married Mary Vanderville Watson, b. March 10, 1851, Webster Co. Married Dec. 14, 1869 Polk Co. Children: Annis Amanda Kelley, b. Oct. 18, 1870, Polk Co William Marcus Kelley, b. Mar 7, 1873, Polk Co George Lee Kelley, b. Jul 26, 1876, Polk County Generation 3: William Marcus "Mark" Kelley, b. March 7, 1874 Rondo, MO, d. Mar 6, 1950 Caney, KS. Buried Flemington Cty, Polk Co., MO. Married June Williams. Children: William Raymond Kelley and Loren Lee Kelley. There are numerous Kelley's in Polk and Hickory County and I believe they are linked, although I have yet to establish that fact. My interest is the Hickory County Kelley family of Marquis L. Kelley, b. 1836 in Tennessee and d. 1895 in Hickory County. Marquis L. Kelley had a son, John Marquis (Marcus), and a grand-daughter, Annis Kelley born in 1898. I have more on these families and am willing to share. Sarah Thompson

    1. [MOPOLK] RE: Need info on Karlin/Tremont area and Lunceford cemetery there
    2. Hi, Rhonda! What kind of info are you needing about the Lunceford/Hensley cemetery? I have a list of the cemetery transcriptions that Roy Kirchner did in 1972 of those who are known to be buried there. It also has a bit of information on the history of that area. I didn't see any Barnhouse's mentioned. The cemetery is on the Kifer farm. I can give you directions if you need them. You would have to call for permission first though since it is on private property. The cemetery is in very bad shape. Most inscriptions are not legible now, and many of the stones have been toppled over. It does have a fence around it now, but apparently cattle got into the cemetery in the past and did a lot of damage. We visited it a few years ago. I have some pictures of the cemetery that I can e-mail to you if you want them. Just let me know how I can help. By the way, my husband is a descendant of William Lunsford/Lunceford and his first wife Barbara [Coffman?]. I have much info on the Lunceford family, but again no references to the Barnhouse family.
