Yes, that is my gr-grandfather Azariah with his 1st wife Nancy and their daughter Effie will be born in 1881. And those are his parents next-door, my gr-gr-grandparents, and my gr-gr-gr-grandmother, Mary Springer, too. You are so good! And I feel so good, to see them there, right where they said they were. And that Eads family is a good possibility, since 11 is very close to what Martha Alice would have been in 1880. In fact, if the information on her family was taken in up to Dec., 1879, she would have been 11, then turning 12 the following January 5th, 1880. Now, I just have to try to find out what that A. stood for. And it doesn't say she is away at school, so if it is our Martha Alice, then she didn't go to boarding school until after the census, and probably not that school year. There is the question of why she would have been discharged before she was ready or before she wanted to from the school and put out in the city "in town" (as she was known to have said) with no money and could not find her family. That is a puzzle. And maybe try to figure out how she became so native american in her life, since my grandfather knew her to be native american all his life and others abused her because they believed her to be one, and she herself thought she was one, so that wi! ll be interesting to try to iron out. But you have gone out of your way to assist me and have come through with some beautiful aces, and i am so thrilled for what you have given me (and our family) here. Many, many thanks. May I help you research something? Annadella Paschal
