My 3rd great Grandparents, Peter & Hester Christison Dupee, were married in Jackson Co., Mo. in 1833 but went on to live in Carrol Twp. in Platte Co., Mo. until 1855 when they then moved to Jefferson Co., Ks. Their children are as follows: 1. Julia A. Dupee wed Frank Baker 2. Elizabeth Dupee wed William Alexander Clarkes Sprague 3. Richard Adam Dupee (my second great grandfather) wed (1st)Margaret Ann Metzger (2nd)Francis Malissie Schoonover 4. Margaret Dupee wed Thomas Jessup 5. Mary Jane Dupee wed Edward L. Carter 6. Joseph Dupee 7. Missouri Annie wed William Russell Fletcher 8. John Dupee wed Mary ? I believe Julia was married in Missouri before moving to Kansas. Also, I believe John moved back to Missouri (Blue Springs area) from Kansas. I don't know what happened to Joseph. If anyone has any information or questions please contact me! Thank you! Karla

His will is dated February 24, 1855, and probated May 24, 1855. His second wife was Mary DOUGHERTY, who was divorced from him. He left no children and bequeathed his property to Julia DUPEY, P. ELLINGTON and Judge H.M. VORIES, his attorney. =================================================================== Here is a John in Blue Springs on the 1880 census. Looking at grandpa's name, I would say Mary was a Christenson. But then again, I just noticed that is Hesters maiden name.
