Scott, wife named Margaret, children Bryce or Rice, Edwin and Galen or Gale. The family appears on the 1850 U.S. Census for Platte County, Missouri. I think John's wife may be Margaret Campbell. I also think that John's middle name maybe Jefferson. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks.

Beside the Scott info it has some good references for genealogy in general.
