I am a descendent of Leroy H P C Bean. Do you have any ideas on what those initials stand for? Also you mentioned that the land around Bean Lake had been bought up by Department of Conservation after 1993 flood. Can a person get to that area? I am planning a trip to that area and would like to know what I can see. Also I am a descendent of William Thornton of Clarksdale, MO. There is a Thornton Cemetery there. Is that open to be seen.
