HI List,i've posted before.tracing my great grandparents,JOHN? or JAMES? MOORE,& wife NANCY MAYES,born near EXCELSIOR SPRING,MO.. daughter of STERLING & SALLIE CARR MAYES.at least info points to Nancy.her husband its said was from TX.he left them in TN.returned some 20 yrs later,left never heard from again.if anyone here is connected to the MAYES & MOORE of GRAINGER/CLAIBORNE/KNOX counties,TN & TX?,please e me.i have a homepage.I hope someone is a direct decendent of a MAYES that may have a very old photo of a Mayes that i can compare to mine.to see if features match overall.i found a GOIN family in CLAIBORNE county,TN,the features were very close.please share a photo if you have 1. my ggrandparents children were JEFF,JAMES HOUSTON,WILL,AGNES,JOHN MARION & LIZZI.thank you,Ray Moore
