    3. Crystal, Below I have attempted to copy a few pages of Paxtons book on the Silvey family. I talked with Jude quite some time back about the remark that Paxton makes on Darius' family being extinct. As you can see, it does not list an Elmira as one of his children. Paxton got some of his info from family member so it is only as good as his source sometimes. You will see some funny garbage in the copy due to the poor print in the book I have. If there is something there you cannot figure out, let me know. The Silvey info starts around the middle. I left the other stuff there just so others could see what kind of info he kept. Before that, here is some 1880 census info. I found one Silvey (James) family in Platte County. A few doors down I find a Samuel Miller. I note that his wife is Elvina. I was thinking it could have been transcribed incorrectly for Elmira.
