Looking at the 1880 census CD's, I found this: Census Place: Lees Summit, Jackson, Missouri Source: FHL Film 1254694 National Archives Film T9-0694 Page 215C Relation Sex Marr Race Age Birthplace David WEBB Self M M W 43 IN Occ: Farmer Fa: IN Mo: IN Mary WEBB Wife F M W 37 TN Occ: Kpng Hse Fa: TN Mo: TN Anna WEBB Dau F S W 12 MO Fa: IN Mo: TN Frank WEBB Son M S W 9 MO Fa: IN Mo: TN Mattie WEBB Dau F S W 9 MO Fa: IN Mo: TN Lillie WEBB Dau F S W 4 MO Fa: IN Mo: TN Sometimes if I cannot find it elsewhere, I check the census to see is either or both of the parents may be living with the adult child or is a neighbor.I found neither was the case here. The Thomas Lankford in the Annals of Platte book says he was born in TN, which would support the above census as accurate. Sorry not much help. Chuck
